Foreign cricketers excited to play in Pakistan Super League 2020

Foreign cricketers picked by various franchises for the next edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) expressed their excitement on Friday, ahead of the cricket tournament  taking place in four cities of Pakistan.

Shane Watson , Dale Steyn ,Ben Cuttings, and Tymal Mills all promised exciting cricket across Pakistan in the fifth edition of PSL set to begin next month.

Australian cricketer Watson posted a video message in Urdu to show his attachment with his team Quetta Gladiators.

"Pakistan, I am coming.I request you all to support the purple force , "Watson said in Urdu"

South Africa's fast bowling legend Steyn, who will be playing for Islamabad United in the PSL , also promised to dominate with the ball during the league.

"I am delighted to be joining the Islamabad United team for this year's PSL. It is going to be a great one guys and I can't wait to get over there.

"I am looking forward to seeing everyone and dominating with the ball , " the South African cricketer said ahead of his maiden PSL stint.

England's Mills , who is back to Quetta after two years ,praised the management of team Gladiators for assembling a strong squad.

"Really excited to be playing for Quetta Gladiators again.It has been a long three years away, but I am glad to be back ,"said the fast bowler who played for Quetta in 2017 before moving to Karachi Kings in 2018 and then Peshawar Zalmi in 2019.

"I am really excited to be playing back in Pakistan again.I was lucky enough to play few games in Karachi and Lahore earlier but really excited now to be playing in the rest of Pakistan for the whole tournament.

"Saffy, Moin, and Nabeel have put together a really strong squad and I can't wait.See you soon guys ,"he said.

PSL Franchises make their picks for the tournament

"This will be my very first PSL experience and I am very excited.

"Hopefully, Quetta Gladiators can get back to back this year.Guys like Shane Watson,Jason Roy ,Sarfaraz ,Akmal, they're all leading the ship and driving the team toward glory and hopefully ,another cup win," he said.

"I will see you all soon in Pakistan ,"he added.

The fifth edition of PSL will kick off on 20 February ,with the defending champions Quetta Gladiators taking on former champions ,Islamabad United ,at Karachi's National Stadium.
